Sustainability in Action
Paper & Plastic Waste Management
The Cotecna CPS team took a bold step toward sustainability by replacing disposable paper cups with ceramic alternatives. Additionally, paper waste is now being recycled through a dedicated partner, reducing landfill impact and promoting circular practices.
The team also successfully transitioned from non-compostable poly bags to compostable alternatives. This shift encourages eco-conscious practices across the organization and supports long-term sustainability goals.
Plastic Reduction at APL Tirora Site
In a smart move to curb plastic usage, Cotecna staff at the APL Tirora site upgraded sample bags to more durable versions. By extending their lifecycle from two to up to five uses, plastic consumption was cut by over 50%—a small change with a big environmental payoff.
